Beacons of Light

Look around and be surprised

When I started to take the presence of Light seriously I began to see the Light in almost everything. It’s not the light as the light of the sun, it’s on another level. You can’t see it with your eyes only. The most amazing Light that I can see is the Light in a wall, in stones, but it is everywhere.

Now, in these times of confusing movements, threatening formation of power, deconstruction of the familiar, I realized that we have to look for the places where there is light, light as in a beacon. It is a slightly different Light, it seams that this Light is more radiating, giving warmth, trust, hope.

I saw it in Pêra, Portugal, in the garden of my partner. It was a combination of location, created objects and intention. It is a guesthouse, the Casa, a small house in the garden, the Casinha, and the garden, the Jardim. We gave it the name: Jardim de Luz.

I started to look around with different eyes and saw more places, more Beacons of Light. Some are just there, some are created and they are strong. And the seekers will find them.
